What is Level Up WCS?

Level Up WCS helps dancers grow in the dance they love. By bringing a community together online and connecting with Top Dancers & Instructors, dancers can keep improving, no matter where they live.

Most dancers hit the same roadblocks:

  • Limited access to WCS Professionals
  • Confusion about technique, development, terms, opinions and more
  • The need for clarity around what to focus on next
  • Feeling isolated between classes and events and often stuck in their progress

Level Up exists to bridge that gap.

It’s not a course, and it’s not a replacement for local classes or events. It’s a place to stay connected, keep learning, and gain perspective from both pros and peers throughout your dance journey. Hi, I’m Steve Fitz.

Like many dancers outside major scenes, I struggled with limited access to pros and the wider WCS community.
Over time, I found ways to grow beyond local classes through videos, workshops, privates, practice, online coaching and a lot of trial and error.
Level Up is the community I wish I’d had earlier.
A place where dancers can learn faster, stay motivated, and feel connected, no matter where they live.

You don’t need to compete. You don’t need to post or perform. You just need to care about your dancing.

Yes absolutely! WCS is now learned locally, at events and online for most dancers. The goal of Level Up is that we get even more than just a video. Instead, we get access to Pro’s plus a group of dancers sharing their growth tips to answer all your questions. Dance Coach adds another dynamic to keep you focused, giving you training drills and letting you book private lessons for targeted feedback.

No. Level Up starts from Newcomer and up. This is exactly the place Steve wanted when he began, till now and beyond. If you love the West Coast Swing dance and want clarity, focus, and encouragement, not perfection – this is the place for you.

No. Level Up compliments local classes and events by giving you access, context, and learning in between.

Not at all. Many members learn quietly by watching and listening. Participation is always optional. However, the more you put into the community and asking questions of the Pro’s – the more you will get out of it.

Both. There is structured content and pro insight, but the heart of Level Up is the people and shared experience. We have a forum to share using text, videos etc.. and livestream hangouts for the community + livestream hangouts with the pro’s that the community can join.

West Coast Swing is a long journey.
